Commencement Welcome 2024

Mark your calendars for September 12th, as we cordially invite you to join us at the LSUS University Center for an afternoon filled with comradery. Join the Office of Alumni Affairs in celebrating both undergraduate and graduate students participating in commencement exercises. For both online and in-person students, this event is an excellent opportunity to meet LSUS faculty and leadership while grabbing some alumni swag. Campus tours are hosted from 11AM to 2PM, with a tour leaving from the University Center ever 30 minutes. From 2PM to 4PM a reception is hosted welcoming the graduates and their families to share in a celebratory welcome. 

Here's what you can look forward to:

Campus Tours: Explore the LSUS campus on a guided tour departing every 30 minutes from the University Center, running from 11 AM to 2 PM. It's an excellent opportunity to acquaint yourself with the campus and perhaps discover exciting updates since your time here. Visit the bookstore before or after your tour and grab an LSUS sweatshirt or mug.

Meet Your Professors: Reconnect with the mentors and educators who played pivotal roles in your academic journey. Our faculty members are eager to catch up with you and hear about your post-graduation plans.

Louisiana Hospitality: Indulge in a taste of authentic Louisiana hospitality as we treat you to a delightful experience that reflects a vibrant culture like no other.

Alumni Swag & Commemorative Photo: As a token of appreciation, alumni swag awaits you! Capture the moment with a commemorative photo to cherish the memories of this special day.

Prep for Commencement Exercises: We're here to help you put your best foot forward! We'll have a steaming station for those wanting to knock those last-minute wrinkles out of your graduation gowns.
